GBTA | WI Honors

The President’s Award is recognition of a member’s outstanding achievement and dedication to the GBTA-WI throughout the year.  The recipient thought outside the box to bring fresh ideas and new initiatives to the organization.  Their efforts and contribution to the GBTA-WI directly benefited the members, education, networking opportunities, and overall growth of the chapter.  Both an Allied member and a Direct member receive the award annually.

The Don Draves Founders Award (formerly the Chairman’s Award) is recognition of a member’s continued support and dedication to the GBTA-WI throughout the years.  The recipient continued to be an engaged member for more than 4 years and remained active as a volunteer, committee chair, or board member for the vast majority of that time. Their efforts and contribution to the GBTA-WI directly benefited the members, education, networking opportunities, and overall growth of the chapter.  The award can be presented to an Allied or Direct member and is presented every other year.
